John Cioffredi
Founder of Community Strength Austin
A former Division 1 athlete with a degree in Exercise and Movement Science, John is a compassionate professional who excels in helping people achieve their fitness goals. He specializes in weight loss, increasing lean muscle mass, health and longevity, and athletic performance. John is passionate about creating community wherever he goes, and leads the Community Happy Hour Workouts on Wednesday nights. Outside of the gym, John loves to go hiking, play guitar, and dial in his Italian biscotti recipe.
Andrea Schuler
Personal Trainer & Director of Nutrition
Andrea developed a passion for research, particularly in nutrition while pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at St. Edward’s University. Andrea successfully lost 145 lbs after establishing a solid nutritional foundation, and discovering many different styles of exercise and enjoys helping others achieve their own healthy, sustainable, body transformations. Andrea has experimented with many forms of exercise over the years from yoga, to running, to metabolic circuit training, to powerlifting. Andrea specializes in weight loss, nutrition, and helping people achieve incredible body transformations. Outside of the gym Andrea enjoys taking long walks and hiking while listening to true crime podcasts, getting lost in a good anime series and coffee – both drinking and making it!
Syd McGregor
Certified Trainer & Performance Specialist
Syd’s love for fitness began at age 12 when their mom took them to a public gym, but it wasn’t until 15 that they truly fell in love with weightlifting. Specializing in performance enhancement, corrective exercise, and functional fitness, Syd helps clients build strength, endurance, and mobility for long-term health. They blend techniques from bodybuilding, powerlifting, and functional training to create personalized programs that deliver real results.
Passionate about community, Syd values the camaraderie and support that fitness brings, drawing from their own journey of overcoming mental health challenges through connection. Outside of training, Syd enjoys running with their dog, skateboarding, cooking, and exploring Austin’s live music scene.
Gabi Padilla
Fitness Professional & Martial Arts Coach
Gabi has been helping clients reach their next level of fitness and sports performance since starting her career at Equinox in New York City in 2016. With a focus on sports performance, movement patterns, and spinal health, Gabi quickly made a name for herself by helping clients improve daily movement, cardiovascular health, and overall fitness. Over time, she developed a passion for training martial arts athletes, coaching fighters on the 2024 USA Muay Thai team, and enhancing punch power, output, and conditioning.
Believing in the power of small daily habits for long-term success, Gabi is her clients’ biggest cheerleader and creates a team atmosphere wherever she goes. Outside of fitness, Gabi enjoys jogging with her dogs, designing clothes, painting, and sewing—a creative outlet she’s mastered as a hobby.
